Rabbits are companion animals, just like cats and dogs, and with the help of so many bunny lovers, we've done it! We purchased a building and moved in to our new Shelter!
The NEW LARGER GHRS Shelter allows us to house more bunnies while they wait for their forever homes, expand the medical area for bunnies who require observation and medication, and gives us more space for boarding for our expanding community of bunny families.

ANNUAL YARD SALE - MAY 17 - 18
Mark your calendars! We will be hosting our annual yard sale at the shelter on May 17-18 from 8:30am until crowds slow down (around 2pm).
We will be accepting donations to sell at the yard sale a couple weeks prior, so please put aside those items you'd like to donate while doing your spring cleaning. Stay tuned for additional information about donating items and dates.

What's a HOPTIMIST, you ask? A Hoptimist is a person who believes in the success of rabbit rescue. We've taken in over 40 rabbits in the last month, but we're always hoptimistic that we ARE making a difference to each and every bun who comes through our doors and we WILL do everything we can to help them and those who come after them. Show the world you're a Hoptimist by purchasing one of our shirts. Proceeds are donated to our shelter!

APPLE BRANCHES FOR SALE
Thanks to all who helped us pick apple branches at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge. With your help, we gathered over 60 crates full of branches!
