With a sadden heart on February 16th we had to put our little Mocha down. Mocha was diagnosed back in June 2010 by Dr. Stewart Colby with sebaceous adenitis which is a very rare disease to rabbits. Mocha was 1 of 5 bunnies in the U.S. to have ever been diagnosed with such a disease.
Mocha was a beautiful, sweet, and affectionate bunny who fought long & hard against this disease and gave us 8 additional months (after being diagnosed) of love & affection down to the day before we had to put her down. She contributed greatly to the research that Dr. Colby communicated to other vets about her condition & how she reacted to the diagnoses protocol.
We miss her tremendously as she gave us 7 years of laughter, smiles, licks, and even grooming of our heads. She will never be forgotten.
