Crossing our fingers worked! Brave’s trial bonding was a success. We wish her many happy years in her new home.
We are crossing our fingers here at the Rabbit Center! Brave has met another bun and is trying out a bonding to see if the two buns like each other. If they do, Brave has a forever home!!
Check back for updates. If Brave is available for adoption again, you will find the news here.
Original Post: Brave is one of 33 rabbits we were able to rescue from the Dunwoody hoarder situation back in March. Brave has been in a foster home for several months, and is now back at the Rabbit Center on the look out for her forever home! She is still very shy after her ordeal, and needs a quiet, patient bunny-owner to coax her out and gain her trust. Brave is probably better suited for a home with older children without any dogs. Treats and love are all this sweet girl needs! Brave, despite her name, isn’t all that Brave just yet. These poor, sweet Dunwoody bunnies weren’t fed during a critical point in their lives, and so their growth is a bit stunted. Brave is probably done growing, and will be on the smaller side. After recovering in her foster home, Brave has put on all the weight she lost from her ordeal… and then some!! She’s on a diet now, but if you’re in the market for a chubby bunny, Brave is your girl. She is so excited to find her forever home and to meet you.
