About a year ago, Cadberry was found by some lovely people in a box in a parking lot. They took her home, and a few days later she surprised them by delivering 6 kits! Homes were found for all of the babies, and Cadberry remained with her new family. A couple months ago this family lost their jobs, their car and their home, and had to move in with relatives in another state, so we accepted Cadberry. She loves all kinds of greens and vegetables, and wants things to be her certain way, like a queen with a kingdom! Notice her beautiful grey coat? She is a giant Chinchilla rabbit, known for their very soft fur. Cadberry is confident and beautiful and sweet all rolled into one.

If you are interested in adopting one of our available rabbits, please read about our Adoption Procedures here. Please be advised you must be at least 18 years of age to qualify. We do not adopt to college students living in dorms or to daycare facilities.
The GHRS is an all volunteer 501c3 charitable organization. We rely on the generous donations of people like you to continue our work of rescuing rabbits in need. Any assistance is greatly appreciated and helps us feed, house and supply medical care for our shelter rabbits. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation, please visit our PayPal Page. The buns will be forever grateful!
