So bittersweet it can be when our rescues get adopted. That is the case with Chance, a wonderful bun who quickly became favorite at the center. We are so happy that he found a forever home but we will miss him terribly. Our job here is to love and care for every bun while they wait for the person who will adopt them and I can say with confidence that we did our job well with Chance! Good luck Chance! We will miss you buddy!
Since posting of his adoption, we have received an update on Chance from his new mommy. Her letter was so great, that we have shared the email with you online. To read Chance’s update, please click here.
Original Post: Chance is a favorite at the bunny house right now. He is a large breed Californian mix bunny and is about 4 months old. He will probably wind up weighing over 10lbs by the time he is finished growing. He was found outside in a neighborhood and rescued buy a bunny lover and brought to us. Chance has not quite yet mastered the graceful moves like other bunnies have. He is big, lanky, awkward and we love watching him frolic around the house checking everything and everybody out. He is one of those bunnies that we all want to keep and love forever but we will certainly adopt him to the right parents so they can enjoy this big goofy loveable boy.
