Some buns are lucky and quickly find a home once brought into the shelter. Others, through no fault of their own, stay in our care for quite some time. Fortunately for Chip, he was one of this lucky buns who found Mr and Mrs Right soon after getting to the Rabbit Center. We wish that little nugget of cuteness continued luck and hope he has a very happy life with his new family! Original Post: Look at that face!! This has to be one of the cutest little buns we’ve seen in a while. Though to be fair, we’re crazy about them all! This 3 pound tiny little boy bun reminds us of a Chipmunk, hence his name.
Chip is a fortunate rabbit. He was picked up by Murray County Animal Control. To be honest, I’m amazed Chip survived in the wild as small as he is and even more remarkable is the fact he was recognized as a domestic rabbit. Given that his coat is so similar to a Cottontail he could have been easily overlooked. But Chip has been given a second chance and a new life awaits him! He is at the shelter waiting for you to come meet him!
