This is truly a hoppy ending for everyone involved and we couldn’t be happier! Jessie came to us after being found by a very nice woman from Duluth. He was living at the Rabbit Center for some time waiting for the right family to come along. Meanwhile, another recently rescued bun, named Adrianna, was living with her foster family. Having fallen in love with Adrianna, her foster family voted to keep her forever and decided to find her a little boy bun for companionship. That’s when Jessie and Adrianna were introduced and fell in love. Both of them were once abandoned and thanks to the kindness of one special family, both are now living a wonderful life and receiving lots and lots of love! It doesn’t get any better than this! Trial Bonding: Sweet little Jessie has been paired up with the one and only Adrianna bunny to see if there is a love connection. Since we let the bunnies decide if the relationship will work or not, we won’t consider Jessie officially adopted until the bunnies actually bond with one another. We call this a trial bonding. If you are interested in Jessie, please check back here for updates. Once the buns have made their decision we will update his status. Original Post: This little cutie was found running around outside in the Duluth area. Tiny as he is, the collar and bell he wore around is neck made it difficult to miss him and made it impossible to mistake him for anything other than a domestic rabbit. It was miraculous that he didn’t fall victim to a predator with that bell announcing his whereabouts! Fortunately, he was spotted by a nice young lady instead. Concerned for his welfare, she captured him and took him into her home. He eventually found his way to our Rabbit Center. We named him after the woman who saved him so that her kind deed would not be forgotten.
Jessie is an absolute cutie pie! He made himself comfortable the second he got to the shelter, capturing everyone’s attention and everyones heart. He’s a tiny little guy, weighing in at 3 whole pounds! Jessie seems to be about a year old. He is curious, personable and loves attention! He is here waiting to meet the family who will take him home.
