When you look up the word “survivor” in the dictionary, you’ll find a picture of Rio there. He was skin and bones when he came to us. His owner had been starving him and he almost didn’t make it. Now that he’s healthy, his personality has really come out and he’s quite a character.
Rio gets really excited when he hears food coming, and he runs back and forth making his bunny honking noises. He runs around like crazy playing and exploring, then he flops over like he’s dead and takes a nap, preferably on a nice soft plush blanket. I believe he’s the neatest bunny we’ve ever seen- cleaning up after him is a breeze. He has something like a deviated septum on the right side of his nose, so he often sneezes if some snot builds up. Occasionally a little shot of saline spray up the nostril is needed, and then he’s good to go. Because of all his medical treatments, he’s not a cuddle bunny, but his personality more than makes up for that. He’ll keep you entertained and you’ll find yourself completely enamored with him like we are.
