We have good news about Pebbles to share! Because of her specific medical needs, she was taken into our sanctuary system. it was there that she met and bonded to Pancakes, another special needs bunny of ours. They now live in one of our sanctuary homes, getting great care and lots of love.
Our sanctuary bunnies are considered special buns, who require extra attention and continuing medical care. These bunnies stay under the care of the GHRS for the remainder of their lives and donations help us provide them with medication and living expenses.
If you would like to contribute to the care of our sanctuary bunnies, you can make a tax deductible donation through PayPal. Follow this link to be directed to our donations page.
Original Post: Pebbles was part of a feral family and lived outside all of her life before she came here to the Rabbit Center. It was only after she developed a large lump on her cheek she was captured and brought to us. Even tho she had not been around people her whole life she was sweet and happy when she came here, perhaps knowing she was in a much better place and being taken care of. She has a distinctive ear, healed but partially missing due to an infection she fought off. Her hearing is not affected and she loves to have it rubbed just like her other one. Pebbles is a sweetheart and in the morning she waits for her Kaytee Exact to be put on top of her pellett food before she goes to the bowl.
