Woo Hoo! The bunny decided Rafa is the one!
Rafa bad the pleasure of meeting a very pretty girl bunny recently. the two seemed to take to each other right away and there was great promise the buns would fall in love, if they already hadn’t. As with all bondings, the real test is when the bunnies get home. Now we wait and see if they can learn to live with each other. If all goes well, Rafa will stay with his girlfriend and be officially adopted! Check back here for updates on Rafa’s status. Once we learn of the bunny’s decision, we will post it here.
Original Post: Rafa is one of 3 Californian baby brothers. They are all very friendly and come running when I enter the room. They don’t like to be held but they love to be petted. Rafa is an avid explorer. He’s also very sweet! They also have had interaction with my cat. She is a little over a year old and de-clawed (I adopted her that way). She does like to chase them some but they also are very curious about each other. I think that Hailey (my cat) is a little jealous of the time that I am spending with the bunnies. She lays in their hay and plays with their toys. Other than when they are being chased, the bunnies like to interact with the cat. They were found abandoned/dumped at the Island Ford unit of the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area by the Atlanta Outdoor Club on May 24th. They are approximately four months and appear to be Californians.
