As we announced just days ago, Sebastian, the beautiful black bunny we had here at the Rabbit Center, had been adopted by a lovely family. Not long after we received this email from them, updating us on his progress in his new surroundings. We were so pleased at the news, we wanted to share it with our followers and the family kindly agreed to it’s posting. Below is the email sent by Sebastian’s mom.
“Just an update!!! Sebastian is fitting in just beautifully!! His cage is super nice, and he has a soft fleece blanket that he sleeps on. He also has a nice wooden little box to hide in and several toys that he loves!! He spends lots of time exploring around the house, and loves to cuddle with each of us on the sofa!! He is slowly warming to our dog Peyton…might take a few more days, but I think they’ll be good friends!
We will keep you posted!!”
We love hoppy endings like these and they inspire us to continue our work here at the center.
Many thanks to Sebastian’s family for sharing the good news and staying in touch with us.
Original Post: Sebastian is a beautiful black boy bunny with magnificent dark eyes. Sadly, he was neglected by his previous owners and was kept outside without food or water. Thankfully, a neighbor became concerned and started taking care of him but due to allergies they were unable to adopt him permanently. They contacted the GHRS and once space opened up at the shelter, we took Sebastian in. He is a fun-loving and joyful little boy and is at the Rabbit Center waiting for his forever home.
