This is a one day event, like a flash mob of giving, to the charity of your choice. We encourage you to choose GA House Rabbit Society. Share this post with your friends and family who would also like to donate to keep our rescue going and growing!
One Bunny’s Story
Summer was rescued in July by volunteers of the Georgia House Rabbit Society, after a lady spotted her hiding under a neighbor’s car. Summer was covered in ticks and had a deeply infected wound in her temple, caused by burrowing fly larvae. By raising funds to help cover the extra medical costs, Georgia House Rabbit Society gave Summer the intense veterinary care she needed to be healed. After a full recovery and spay, Summer was adopted into a wonderful forever home, where she is happily bonded with a bunny named Puff.
20 Years of Saving Lives
Next year marks 20 years that GHRS has been saving domestic rabbits like Summer – more than 3,000 rabbits in fact! And there is great need to be able to save more. In 2010, we opened the first permanent facility in Georgia for rescued rabbits, and in only 6 years, we have reached our maximum capacity. We desperately need to expand our existing Rabbit Center.
