June 12th is almost here and we at the Georgia House Rabbit Society are hopping in anticipation! The yearly Bunnyfest is fast approaching and we have plans to make this year’s more exciting and more fun than ever before!
We have chosen a new venue for this years event and we couldn’t be happier with it! We believe you will be too. Conveniently located off of Highway 92 is the Woodlands of Woodstock. We will be hosting Bunnyfest at the meeting house of this lovely community. There should be ample room for everyone and every bun!!
Click the photo of the Woodlands meeting house below to visit their website. There you will find more information about the community, including a map and directions
Want to take part in Bunnyfest?!? We are looking for people that would like to participate and help us make it interesting and full of variety. If you have bunny related items you’d like to sell or if you create interesting and lovely crafts, please consider hosting table at the event!! The table rental costs you nothing, though we do ask that a portion of the profits go to the GHRS. The proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the shelter and the care of our rescue buns. If you are interested, please get in touch with Darlene Love at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also call the Rabbit Center at 678-653-7175
We are also looking for volunteers for this years festival! If you would be interested in helping us set up our vendor booths, serve Sno-cones to the kids or help wrangle bunnies for the bunny races, then click here to read more about our volunteer opportunities and find the link to our online volunteer form. There are still spots that need filling, all should prove to be enjoyable! And all help will be greatly appreciated by us and the buns!
We are working hard to make sure that there will be lots of items to oogle and buy, food consessions to enjoy, bunnies to adore and prizes to be won! So mark off June 12th on your calendar and ask your bun if they’d like to join in on the festivities, because Bunnyfest is not only for humans….it’s for bunnies too! We hope to see to see you there!
